Joining your family to honor Jack’s legacy and your love and memories together; while missing him and moving forward, and shining a light to walk in the light. Glad for the resources, respite, and relationships Camp Kita has been to serve in community healing, For strengthening to walk days ahead, holding fond memories of yesterday, giving space for the pain of loss, and growing a resilience to build a future with hope and peace. Big hugs! ~Tina & Sam

It is our sincere honor to make this donation in remembrance of Jack Mui and in support of the meaningful work carried out by Camp Kita. We remember Jack with deep affection. As fellow parents getting to know each other while our boys were growing up, Jack stood out as a caring and friendly presence, always kind. Jack left a lasting impression on us and so many others. Our thoughts remain with his beloved wife, Susan and his children, Jacob, Jackson, and Jacqueline. Jack's spirit lives on in the memories we share and, in the lives, he touched so meaningfully. With love and remembrance, Madeleine, Hiran, Sophia and Michael Cantu

About Remembering Jack
Jack lost his battle with depression and passed away from suicide on May 18, 2022. Jack always put others first. He was generous, kind, intelligent and had a sarcastic sense of humor. He is forever in our hearts and thoughts. The kids and I have been working through our own healing journeys through amazing supports like you, our friends and family, and other unique opportunities. Our family has been fortunate to attend Camp Kita, the last two summers since Jack’s passing. The Kita Center was founded in 2013 by the Mosher siblings after their father's suicide and have become leaders in suicide grief support for children. They are in the process of expanding their scope to make a greater positive impact on the mental health landscape. Each summer Camp Kita surrounds Jacob, Jackson, and Jaqueline with peers and professionals that have been impacted by suicide. The kids look forward to attending camp every year. I am eternally grateful for this community that understands this part of their journey and that my children do not feel alone.
